100% Barbera. Lifted nose of dark fruits mingling with red berry notes and spice – ripe but lifted and very pure. The palate opens with ripe red berries, black cherry, sour cherry and spiced plum notes, with an underlying nuance of almond, tar and gravelly minerals; the mid-weight fruit is supported by classic crunchy Asti acid and fine but persistent tannins. R&R
