This uses both Moscato and non-aromatic wine as a base, with super-pure spirit for fortification, as with the other vermouths. There is great complexity to this, with the cast of over 30 botanicals contributing impact and nuance. There are distinct hints of fennel, gentian and chamomile, though the impression overall is of a detailed whole, rather than single notes – a remarkably complex and layered vermouth of great character.
