An 80/20 blend, Boglietti’s Buio is aromatically very reflective of the dominant Nebbiolo component, with Barbera providing darker fruit accents, enriching and softening. The fruit is hand-picked and sorted before indigenous ferment in stainless steel. The ferment is plunged and pumped over and pressed to barrel once dry, with approximately 60% of the oak being new.
