Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero. Quite concentrated and darkly fruited nose with notes of dark cherry, black olive, woody herbs and a classically savoury overlay. There is an intensity to the fruit here, but the coolness of Rufina means that this knits into a balanced and structured package, marrying typicity and power seamlessly. R&R
