This comes from a 5-hectare vineyard that was planted in 2005 to clay-limestone soils on a sandy sublayer at around 300 metres elevation. The wine was fermented in steel and left on lees for 6 months before bottling. Straw yellow with light golden shades, this has a fine and elegant nose of citrus and white flowers, rounded by hints of honey and lifted with herbal and floral notes typical of the variety – sage, rosemary, lavender. There is some richer texture, which is arrested by bright acidity and distinct minerality. R&R
