100% Nero d'Avola. Gulfi’s Vigna Coste vineyard, in Chiaramonte Gulfi, averages around 420m above sea level on a slight slope, with calcareous soils and a moderate clay component. The viticulture is strictly organic. Fruit is hand-picked and sorted before temperature-controlled fermentation and an extended maceration on skins. The wine is matured in 225 and 500ltr barrels for 12 months before bottling. R&R
