Nero d'Avola with a small percentage of local varieties. Dark and tarry nose with notes of black plums and saturated red fruits with hints of bitumen, black spices, baked earth and wet clay; the richly fruited palate expands on the flavour profile with notes of pasilla chillies, cocoa nibs and wild dark berries carried through a long and structured finish – a real expression of Riofavara’s oldest vines and the elevated clay component of the site.
