A blend in the classic Friulian spirit, Klin is made up of Sauvignon Blanc, Friulano, Chardonnay and Ribolla Gialla grown in the marl and sandstone Ponca soils of the Collio. Fully ripe fruit is hand-picked, de-stemmed and gently pressed. The free-run juice is transferred to 500–600ltr barrels for fermentation with indigenous yeasts (with the Ribolla Gialla fermented separately in stainless steel); the wine also undergoes partial malolactic fermentation. The wine is then assembled and returned to oak for 24 months. R&R
