The ‘P. Honorii’ (a historic name for the town of Bertinoro) Riserva is the top of the tree for La Viola, a selection of the best of the estate’s grapes that are fermented in stainless steel, and then raised in new French barriques and tonneaux for 14–16 months. This is the most concentrated and structured of the La Viola wines. R&R
