100% Sangiovese. The vines are planted to classic Tuscan Galestro soils at 250 metres elevation with a south-west aspect. All fruit is hand-picked and fermented spontaneously, undergoing 18–20 days of skin contact. Ferments are predominantly plunged, with occasional pumping over. The wine is raised in French barriques for a minimum of 10 months, and is racked for clarity before bottling. R&R
