A blend of mostly Carricante, the great white grape of Etna, along with Albanello, an ancient variety from Ragusa and Syracuse, from Gulfi’s Vigna Campo vineyard in Chiaramonte Gulfi at around 400m above sea level. The soils are calcareous with a moderate clay component and the vines are planted at a high density, with the Carricante propagated from massal selections of the best vines from Etna. R&R
