70% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella and other indigenous varieties. The Casal Vegri vineyard is situated on a hillside with an easterly aspect, and ranges from 150 to 300m above sea level. The soils are rugged and rocky and are mainly comprised of clay and limestone. The organically managed fruit is hand-picked, before fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with the temperatures regulated below 25°C. The wine is mainly aged in 30hl barrels for 18 months, with about 10% being matured in barriques. R&R
